Want To Share Your Singing Story?

Hello Rae, I just wanted to send you a quick note to say thank you! I got your tev cd program and have been using it (though not as much as I would like) and am so happy with the improvement in just the month I’ve been using them. So many little things that I am now working on that I would have never figured out on my own. I’m not looking to be a professional singer but coming from a family full of musicians old and young, its wonderful to be able to sing along and truly enjoy myself. My family was very surprised asking where I’ve hidden my voice for all these years! So again, many thanks!!! I have a lot more work to do but enjoy the program so much, its not work at all. - PS. Love the humor you add in your videos. Helps not take myself so seriously when doing the exercises.

Before I started with these videos, my singing was okay and in terms of breathing I wasn't making a lot of progress which would often limit my potential, but after i watched the videos, I started to see some improvement. Hi Rae, Thank you for helping and giving us the free lessons. With just a few wise words and exercises you made me feel much better about myself and my singing. Instead of just another hopeless case, someone who loves to sing but just can't, I now feel that if I just keep at it I will keep improving. I'm already surprising myself after just a few weeks. Dear Rae, Taking your lessons through my last year of high school was a God send. I went from being the shy Year 11 boy who thought he might like to start singing, to having the confidence to step onto stage in a number of different places and perform. My voice improved astronomically because of your lessons, and I can't thank you enough for that. Thanks to you, singing is as large a part of me as my piano and other instrument playing, i find total happiness within it, and I wouldn't have been able to without you. You also gave me invaluable life lessons as well, and taught me that I CAN get what I want if I try hard enough for it. Through you I've also gained the confidence to take my music public on YouTube. Hi Rae... :) I've just completed the first 6 lessons, but I hope I'll get "the whole package". What I want to say is that I don't have very much of a success story for you right now, but I know what I want (with my singing) and how to get it (with you, I mean your lessons). I normally can sing high notes, such as the Celtic woman songs, but its never sounded like it flowed and when i would transition into a higher note you could tell. Hi there!! I just love technology! I found you on you tube and really appreciated the way you presented the same things I was trying to teach. I believe that kids learn in so many different ways, the more ways you can present the same material the more it "sinks in". Plus I thought you were funny and the kids would enjoy you. And I wasn't wrong! This week I plan on showing the video on Singing High notes. The student was mistaken in telling you that I show the same video every week. ;) I plan to show a different one every week for at least the first few months as they are learning to sing together. Here I was in Florida watching and learning live from Austrailia. I am a grandmother who started piano lessons some years ago, and have had a few vocal lessons. I had the life-long habit of speaking in a husky voice, speaking on my vocal cords, and my teacher helped me to learn to speak in the "front" of my mouth. I was a tough case and I find I need to keep at it! I am very busy, but am working to find a routine of implementing your vast resources. I was in choir at church and through out middle school and high school, I thought my voice was good, but felt it could be much better, the first set of singing lesson videos I found wer not all that helpful, then a few more years went by then i found the essential voice online, It changed every thing that my chorus teachers in school tought me! this was a recent discovery, and man was it a great one! Hi Rae.You are very helpful with your singing lesson's, and they are easy to understand, as they are helping me to sing better now, and are giving me more confidence.I have always enjoyed both singing, and dancing too, but I was never actively involved in doing so for any band or party, except for my to just enjoy it for my own good pleasure.Although, many years ago, I did play a bass guitar,in a pop band for a while.However, after I became a Christian, we joined our present Church, and one night our Pastor was stood next to me, and he heard me singing, and asked me there and then would I join the worship team, and I said yes. So I've been in the team now for about 12 years, and still enjoying it.

I have been singing for a very long time now and I use to take lesson when I was younger and he was an amazing teacher but I got married moved away and basically stop taking lesson and I came upon Rae Henry and she has brought me back to singing again and learn the basics that I think I lost along the way. She is very helpful and easy to learn from I love her videos and I will continue to use them as I try to better myself singing
